What happens on the first visit?
Allow around 40min for the first consultation. We will go through a clinical history and examination to find the best treatment – or no treatment – approach.
I will let you know if you require care outside the scope of my practice, as well if you need further imaging for a more accurate diagnosis.
The outcome of the comprehensive diagnostic process is carefully explained to you and treatment is tailored to your condition and considers your situation.
How long will it take for me to get better?
The same way we build muscles at the gym, building new circuits in the brain and feeding good neuromuscular feedback to maintain and increase movement takes time and practice. This is a great time to make time and room in your life to listen to your body and restore health.
Not two people are the same, and the same person is different on different days. I strive to do all I can to get my patients well again. As quickly as possible.
Do I receive treatment on my first visit?
Of course
Do I need a referral?
Although not necessary, some patients do bring an Allied Health Referral, check with your GP if you are eligible for one.
Hicaps and eftpos are available.
