I appreciate the complex role of the GP in caring for and managing your patient’s health.
I also know that You want to make sure your patient is in good hands of a reliable practitioner.
My aim is therefore to efficiently identify the musculoskeletal component that you refer your patient to me for, followed by evaluation whether this patient is suitable for chiropractic treatment.
The diagnostic process will determine the treatment approach, estimated recovery time and risk of future recurrences.
It is important to me to inform Your patient on active care and a collaborative approach working closely with You. And sometimes, working with a patient can yield more questions than answers. That is why sometimes I refer the patient for more scans to bring back to you for an opinion on further management or intervention.
Since guidelines on X ray imaging for chiropractors are subject to variating conditions, please contact me directly for updates/questions.
If You refer your patient via Allied Health Referral, I will write a comprehensive report following the last treatment.
I have worked as a chiropractor at Tharawal Aboriginal Corporation in Airds, NSW for five years and have a certificate in musculoskeletal needling (dry needling).
I have a valid SIRA workers compensation number.
